Art Week of the Municipal Galleries Berlin

30 August to 8 September 2024

The Art Week of the Municipal Galleries Berlin offers a cross-district art experience. A total of 32 galleries present 36 exhibitions and numerous other events with around 400 participating artists, providing a comprehensive insight into Berlin's diverse art scene.

In solo and group exhibitions of painting, photography, graphic art, sculpture, video and sound art as well as installations, performances and conceptual art, both socially relevant themes and artistic aesthetic issues are addressed, reflecting the multi-layered perspectives of Berlin's vibrant art scene. In addition to exhibitions, the Art Week of the Municipal Galleries Berlin offers a supporting programme with music, workshops and guided tours.

Sounds: 31 August 2024: Live concerts on the Kulturinsel on Danziger Straße
Young: 1-8 September 2024: Programme with workshops in various galleries and districts for children, young people and families as well as pre-school groups and school classes
Tours: 8 September 2024: Two bus tours, one underground tour and one bike tour to four to five galleries each
