Forum Open Education

Freely accessible digital resources have become an integral part of our everyday lives. But in schools and universities, despite many efforts and expressions of intent, the digital reality is a different one. How can access to open digital content for education be implemented? This question will be explored at the Forum Open Education 2020. For the third year in a row, the Alliance for Free Education, the Open Knowledge Foundation Germany and Wikimedia Germany are inviting civil society, education professionals and political decision-making bodies to exchange ideas. On October 8, the results of the work process of four cross-partisan expert groups will be presented in a digital event and discussed by education policymakers such as Marja-Liisa Völlers, Margit Stumpp, Dr. Jens Brandenburg, Ronja Kemmer and Birke Bull-Bischoff.
