Jewish Culture Days Hamburg

The Jewish Community organises the first Jewish Culture Days in Hamburg. For five weeks, more than 30 events offer an insight into the broad spectrum of Jewish cultural life in the fields of music, art, literature, dance and theatre, film, religion, history, city history and Jewish everyday life. The musical events alone range from classical music, jazz, klezmer and Ladino to Yiddish and Israeli songs. The programme is realised with many cooperation partners and can be experienced at numerous prominent venues. The opening takes place on 4 November with the silent film concert "Jewish Happiness" at Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie.
