Action Days of the Kommunale Galerien Berlin

16 to 19 October 2025

The Action Days of the Kommunale Galerien Berlin invite a total of 150 artists to participate in their action days. Against the backdrop of this year's budget cuts, 31 galleries will present discursive and topical themes in 37 solo and group exhibitions, highlighting the resilience and relevance of municipal galleries. The programme will be complemented by performances, discussions, music, workshops and guided tours.

The action days will kick off on 16 October at WABE with ‘Sounds’. With ‘Young’ – a workshop programme for children, young people, families, preschool groups and school classes – the exhibitions and various artistic techniques can be discovered together with artists and art educators. On 19 October, two bus tours, two underground tours and one tram tour will take visitors to four to five galleries in several districts. On the tours, participants will learn about the work of Berlin's 37 municipal galleries.
