Young Euro Classic 2025

Konzerthaus Berlin

August 1 to 17, 2025

For the 26th time, Young Euro Classic offers a prominent stage for international youth orchestras. Ensembles from all over the world provide musical highlights at the Konzerthaus Berlin. 17 evening concerts, 6 chamber concerts and 1 day filled with a wide range of activities for young music fans await the audience. A great variety of older works and brand new world premieres, classical music, jazz and dance, symphonic music and indigenous music will be presented  .

This year, classical music traditions from Indonesia, India, Gambia, Bolivia and the Sámen in northern Fennoscandia can be experienced at the “Future Now - Tomorrow's Traditions Today” festival. NEXT GENERATION, the program for the upcoming generation of young musicians, offers children and young people a wide range of insights into the world of classical music with workshops and concerts. And contemporary music always has a firm place at Young Euro Classic: composers of the younger generation present their new works to the Berlin festival audience for the first time - and, as always, an audience jury decides on the winner of the European Composition Award 2025.

Celia Solf

We are heartbroken. Our dear colleague and friend Celia passed away unexpectedly on January 18. We are mourning her deeply and feel an immense sense of loss. As a co-founder of Artefakt Kulturkonzepte, Celia shaped the agency from its very beginning. She was not only a driving force in our work, but also a trusted partner and a wonderful person whose presence meant so much to all of us. Working alongside her was a privilege, and her warmth, commitment, and clarity will stay with us. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are especially with her family and loved ones at this painful time. May she rest in peace. We miss her greatly.
