Berlin Book Festival 2024

The Berlin Book Festival is a large open-air bookshop on Bebelplatz right in the centre of the city. Around one hundred stands offer the literature-loving public the opportunity to discover Berlin publishers and their programmes - from new releases to backlist titles. A wide audience is invited to discover and celebrate the wealth of ideas, social issues, entertainment and education that Berlin's book industry has to offer.

On various stages and in different formats, authors will discuss their books and invite people to join in. Admission is free! In addition to classic readings of literary works by debut and established authors, hands-on activities are aimed at the younger audience.
