Seit ihrer Eröffnung im Jahr 1991 präsentiert die Kunsthalle Münster nationale wie internationale zeitgenössische Kunst. In wechselnden Ausstellungen nimmt die Kunsthalle aktuelle Tendenzen und gesellschaftlich relevante Themen in den Blick. Als Teil des Kulturamts verantwortet die Kunsthalle Münster nicht nur das Programm in den Räumen am Hafenweg, sondern betreut auch die Werke der Öffentlichen Sammlung der Stadt.

Zum 40. Mal findet die Förderpreisausstellung der Freunde der Kunstakademie Münster statt, die Arbeiten von Studierenden der insgesamt 13 Klassen der Kunstakademie Münster zeigt: Sierra Louise Diamond + Leya Christin Wüllner, Pascale Feitner, Philipp Hermeling, Chu Chun Hsu, Louis Klingbeil + Vincenzo Pant6, Selena Knoop, Eva Sofie Lonken, Tamara Malcher, Camilla Noell, Nane Rau, Daniel Schwinge, Jana Theml, Alla Zhvvotova.
